Umpires Wanted

GFBLL and our contract umpire partner, Fauquier Umpire Association (FUA) is in need of Umpires for our 2018 Baseball Seasons.  We especially need adult (age 18+) umpires.  Managers, Coaches, Parents, Friends and lovers of baseball are encouraged to register.  Umpiring at least ONE game per week will be a great help to providing a quality baseball experience to the youth of our community.  It is a grat way to earn extra money as well!  Please register now for the 2018 Baseball Season.

Thanks, Bob Ritz, GFBLL UIC

The Leigh Family

We hope you all enjoyed Christmas and was able to spend time with your loved ones. This is the time of year for giving and helping families out in the time of need and we would like to share a story with you about one of our players, Noah Leigh.

Noah was recently diagnosed with bone cancer and currently going through treatments. Noah, is a budding Little League Star! While I personally do not know Noah, I do know who he is and seen him play baseball many times; he has a smile that will brighten your day and leave a lasting impression.

The family ask that you please say a prayer for Noah and their family as Noah’s older brother has battled cancer as well. To learn more about Noah and his family, we ask that you please visit their gofundme page at www.gofundme.com/noahleigh

Please say a prayer tonight for the Leigh Family and please donate if possible.
